FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA – February 5, 2007 – DSM Events owner, Jim Russell released today, information that he has been receiving entries for the Mark Hahn Memorial 300 Race at Lake Havasu, Arizona on February 24, 2007 at a record rate. Russell confirmed that the first entry received was that of the reigning Mark Hahn Memorial 300 team – the R&D Factory YAMAHA Team FOLLMER duo of Mike Follmer and Billy Womack who are returning to defend their championship aboard their 2006 R&D Factory YAMAHA GP1300R three cylinder, 2-stroke.
The APBA leader, Patrick Mell has also created a special “Mark Hahn Memorial 300” web page to get the information regarding the race out to all potential entrants. Follmer and Womack teamed up in 2005 for the inaugural Mark Hahn Memorial 300 and won the overall title for this prestigious 300 mile/ 6-hour endurance race. The pair also are two time overall class champions of the event and will return this year to defend that title and try once again to win the event overall.
