If you crash at Lake Elsinore Motocross Park, you have a good chance of meeting our close friend Alicia … and if you do meet Alicia … you wont forget her! Not only is she easy on the eyes, the girl rides and races!
And welcome back to the track Alicia, … you looked very smooth, and appears to be having a lot of fun being back on the track. And, having fun is the reason for riding. winning is cool as well, but you wont win if your not having fun anyways.
This is Alicia’s first race in 7 months, since taking a serious digger, (crash) that put her lights out (coma) for three days…Sweet to have her back, and fully recovered.
With the number of girls that ride quickly growing, as well as there speed and talent, im doing a whole series on girls that race. It’s a changing scene, we now have girls taking hole shots, … against boys.
Case in point – my new buddy Ms. Jeanette Walk. If ya see number 272 on a KTM 125 two-smoke, be sure to hold your line, as she may be setting up to pass you. Crap, I just realized. This young thing is pretty fast right, and we ride the same places, so sooner or later will be on the track. If she passes me, you’ll hear about it …
OK this young lady is no joke. She was pulling 3rd over all, and not just in her class, but “over all”. She was battling as well, got passed, the took it back. But a bobble in a dusty turn, cost her several positions. She went to work, and recovered for 4th over all. Good job J-girl.
Heather of DM Sports-WSMX is just getting back on two wheels her self. Heather looked confident as she’s getting re-acquainted with her Yamaha. Oh ya, and Heather’s company I mentioned is all about teaching riding.
I look forward to getting to know Heather more. Im even getting my daughter in on some lessons. Emily, my daughter wont listen to me when it comes to riding. She tells me, Daddy, with all due respect, … you’ve been broken up three months per year on average, for along time now .. so what’s my motivation in learning from you ? hmmmm, I gotta admit, I see her point … It be like getting lesson from TP199 ahhh, no, really now. Thanks anyways!
