KAL-GARD/Lake Elsinore MX Park Mini Mania– Saturday, 5 2008

The ThrottleJunkie.com boys Mauler and David Ray came out to witness the action of the “Mini Mania” race event at Lake Elsinore Motocross Park. Honestly, I have never cared much for Mini’s. That all changed today boy. The racing was hot, as were the Red Bull girly girls giving out cold Red Bull. But no really, the racing was on. And in the name of good’ol racing, there was plenty of bar banging, line taking, and rubbing for position’s … Fact is, this was more exciting than many AMA Supercross class races of last few years.

The event brought out some awesome equipment and people. If ya didn’t go, be sure not to miss the next one. Check throttlejunkie.com weekly for update and events. This event drew out many rider classes. First time racers to the pros, boys & girls, young and not so young. Sara Price came out to throw down. As did my buddies Airn Chamberlain & Jeff Smith (of Jeff Smith Motorsports). A special thanks to Airn & Jeff for letting me ride Airn’s (works) totally sic180 mean machine. Yup, … after a half a dozen laps, I’m hooked on mini’s … and didn’t crash once!

There was plenty of hot food and cold drinks to go around … a real great family day. The crowd and races were kept abreast by the event announcer, Mr. Dave Arnold. Dave is a personal friend of both Mauler, myself and ThrottleJunkie. Bro, bring your bike. We miss riding with ya.
