Going huge and clean in the clear blue curling surf of Montelivet, France, Champion pulled off a first place win during the first round of the 2008 International Freeride Watercraft Association’s 2008 season opener.
He edged out Mark Sickering of Germany, but complete details of 3rd the place and runabout division winners are yet to be reported. I can tell you Pierre Maxient, last year’s IFWA overall World champ was knocked out early either due to mechanical issues, or from the multi-talented Federico Buffachi – again, more details to come soon.
