Had a blast today. 120 riders with the old farts guys. Some of the old farts are fricken fast, they were fun to watch. Moto x kidx is the best think in along time thats all about the kids and their family. Great job. Sorry to bug the announcer so must but the guy always had a answer for me even during a race he would take time to talk to me. And that means alot when you and your family are new to racing. Were hooked. Seen you in to weeks.

Found posted on another forum from a (confirmed) first-time race dad:

I was there on Sunday as well for the first MotoXKidz summer series race and on my drive in I noticed how nice all the tracks looked. The 85, Vet and Pro track where groomed and watered. The GFI track (that’s what it is known to me) is where they hold the MotoXKidz races was perfectly groomed and watered. They expanded it some and it’s a perfect track with safe jumps and rhythm sections. Prop’s to whomever prepped the track. It did get kinda windy and hot around noonish and the dust started to kick up. Other then that it was a great day of racing.

Reply from an experienced race parent:

    I agree.

The track staff was very attentive and caring. Lot’s of love for the little guys, production crew, and the parents. Also, a lot of parents really feel comfortable to pitch in their time by helping out when they know what to do.

When they don’t know what to do, they just ask, and it’s handled - no problem.

The only other folks that I have experienced (In our local industry) that actually work one-on-one with their everyday customers is Freddy & Donna Edwards. I truly respect their efforts as well as the in-kind raport of their exceptional peers running the Moto X Kidz series.

A good friend of ours shared this with me the other day:

“Team work is the fuel that produces uncommon results.”

Just one more thing, I would like to thank the announcer Mike for telling us about your event. My son just got a new bike and he could not get his new bike started last week at the track. He called on his cell all mad and there was nothing i could do at the time. I was at work. And Mike saw him having trouble and walked over and helped him get it started and thats how we found out about your event. Thanks a lot Mike.

MotoX Kids rocks! My son and I had a great time out there (even though we had our butts handed to us!). The program is great and is perfect for getting the family involved with racing! I appreciated all the cool people we met, the advice from all the Throttle Junkie crew, and the push from Mike to get my boy and I off the couch and to the track! See ya in two weeks…
