2008 Long Beach 2 Catalina Entry Form

The finalized date for the Long Beach to Catalina & Back (LB2CAT) Offshore APBA PWC Championships is July 20, 2008. It will be held as part of the the Long Beach Offshore Powerfest weekend on July 19 & 20th. The actual PWC race is on Sunday July 20th, 2008. The Hyatt Hotel is going to be the host hotel (racer hq) for the event. The racer rate is $189/night and RPM RACING has a group of rooms blocked for both Friday and Saturday under RPM RACING ENTERPRISES – Long Beach to Catalina Race. The rooms will go fast as there are many events going on in Long Beach on that weekend – so book quickly! Cut off date is June 5, 2008. After that, if the rooms are not sold out, they will be turned back for re-sale and the rate will be over $250/night.

Please note that when the rooms are gone, they are gone. Ross Wallach has a lot of great things coming for the racers that sign up: Thursday Night Thunder on Pine Ave., Racers Meet & Greet, food, beverages, etc. and oh by the way, Ms. Powerfest Bikni Contest! On Friday Night there will be a Driver’s Party at Spring Bok Restaurant in Shoreline Village.

What can I say readers, the Moto-X-Kidz series just keeps getting better and better. As if that’s a surprise. In fact, im running out of ways to describe just how sweet these events really are, seriously. Ya just need to come out with your family and soak it up yourselves. That’s if you’re not already in the mix. And the way this keeps growing, there’s a good chance you are.

Truth be told, about the coolest place for a kid to be on a weekend day (and out of trouble), is at the races. With there parents! The kidz love it, the parents love it, and its good for America! Ok, so maybe that’s a stretch, but it sounds good. Yup, the word is out and it’s spreading fast.
