After a warm and sunny day of action yesterday, more high temperatures greeted some truly diehard fans today for Round 6 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series presented by Geico Powersports. The action on the track heated up as well, and spectators, drivers, and crews alike were treated to an exciting day of racing filled with surprises. No race was predictable, with leads changing, drivers faltering and shining, and both experienced and first-time winners making their way to the top step of the podium.

(PALA, Calif.)  – June 29, 2009 – MX Motopark Industries Inc today announced the Pala Raceway Launch Party on July 11th, a guest appreciation day at Pala Raceway an off-road racing facility in Pala, CA, 30 miles north of San Diego.

The Pala Raceway Launch Party will include open practice on our existing tracks (the Main Motocross, the Vet Motocross, the Mini, and the Peewee Tracks,) with the addition of the New ATV-SidexSide track, Amateur Motocross Track, a Trials Riding area built with the help of the Southern California Trials Association, and Pala Raceway will allow free dry camping on Saturday July 11th for Pala Raceway Members. The Stock Membership is required to ride at Pala Raceway and Gate fees are still $20 to ride on July 11th.

The Launch Party will also have live bands, Leo Rising and Planet Jack playing on stage in the late afternoon, Kids zone with bouncy rooms, rides, and games, and the Mini Moto Supercross Race on a specially designed Mini Supercross track, more information on the race will be coming soon.

Pala Raceway is currently open for practice six days a week with professionally designed tracks prepped with Komatsu Equipment everyday. Please check www.palaraceway.com for the latest schedules and events.

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (June 27, 2009) – For just the second time in history, the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship raced under the lights for round five from Thunder Valley MX in Lakewood, Colo., producing a pair of first time winners. Honda Red Bull Racing’s Ivan Tedesco, of Tallahassee, Fla., dominated the 450 Class, sweeping the evening’s motos while Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Jake Weimer, of Rupert, Idaho, captured the 250 Class victory.
