We are pleased to introduce a new event to the 2009 Great Lakes Watercross Race Series. The Triple Crown. This competition within a race series will add a extra incentive to be the best at a difficult riding discipline, The wide open waters of lake Michigan. For this season we will have three rounds of racing on Lake Michigan. The Race events will be Rounds 4 & 5 in Kenosha WI. July 24 & 25, and Round 6 in Sheboygan WI. August 9. Each round will give the competitors a chance to earn points towards the TRIPLE CROWN Champion. No extra entry fees.
The TRIPLE CROWN is based on the classes that you are already in or enter at the events. The points you earn from your finishes in all classes that you enter will be tallied up at the end of each round of racing. The totals from all three rounds of racing will put together to decide the winner. The points will be based on the IJSBA rules for closed course racing 1st – 60 points, 2nd - 58 points, 3rd – 48 points, ect… We will have one winner in SKI class and one winner in Runabout/Sport class. All skill levels will earn the same points. So if you are a Junior, Novice, Amateur, Expert or Pro-Am racer you will have the same shot at winning the TRIPLE CROWN.
Some of the prizes for Winning this event are, SKAT-TRAK IMPELLER, CASH PRIZE, ALL Aluminum SHOP STAND, TROPHY, CUSTOM CROWN for the KING of the BIG WAVES. More information will released as the season comes along.

| Great Lakes Watercross will be conducting it’s race events with the rule book published by the IJSBA (International Jet Sports Boating Association) for the 2009 season. The IJSBA Competition Card is available on-line. Go to www.ijsba.com or you may purchase them at the race events.
