Whether you want to cruise the dunes, soak up the sunshine, explore the desert or blast up Blow Sand Hill!…We have it all! Located 30 minutes east of Julian, 20 minutes from Borrego Spring and across Highway 78 in the beautiful Southern California Desert.The Blu In RV Park was amazing!
The staff was above and beyond friendly and helpful, the restrooms were very clean, the pool and spa are fantastic (even better in person than the photos online), The spaces were HUGE (plenty of room for your trailer & ALL your desert toys!) We felt very safe and secure, with gates/fence all the way around. Easy access to San Felipe Wash right from the park.
Full hoook ups and a pool/spa for a long desert weekend is a must with my kids! We were even offered a Firefighter/Police/Military discount AND a mid-week discount!!! We’ll be back for sure, and telling all our friends about it. The Blu In RV Park is the place to be!

If you reside in California you know that we use to have 10 or 11 Special Vehicle Recreation Areas (SVRAs) throughout the State. These were paid for with our OHV gas tax and Green Sticker monies which the Governator recently raided to the tune of $90 Million dollars (90% of the fund) as his predecessors have done at least twice in the past, without repaying the money as promised.As of now we are down to seven with the closure of Clear Creek (CCMA) nearly a year ago and the forthcoming closure of Carnegie SVRA on December 28. Oceano Dunes is also under attack and threat of closure. If the Oceano attack is successful this will leave us with six, a nearly 50% reduction of self funded pay to play riding areas. Never mind all the National Forest and BLM Land Access we recently lost and continue to loose!!!Get on-board NOW or prepare to stay home!!!

When will this madness stop? Either when every trail and SVRA is closed or when we OHV users unite, come out of pocket, join National, Regional and Local groups thereby making a meaningful commitment to fight this crap!
For those of you in other States . . . just a warning . . . stand by . . . crap like this that starts in California rarely stays here!
Pala Holiday Week Schedule Changes

We will be have the Vet Track and kids tracks and possibly the Amatuer Trackopen extra days the next wo weeks, This Tuesday (12/22), next Monday (12/28) and Tuesday (12/29). Check out the Schedule below:
Also we will be closing at 3 PM on Christmas Eve to allow Pala Raceway staff the oppertunity to spend Christmas Eve with their families.

I would like to thank every Racer, Spectator, Vendor, Sponsor, Storm Stadium Staff, City Member and my Podium Crew that made this event a success! I could not be happier with your positive attitudes and cooperation at this event. The emails have already flooded in on what a great event we put together, but ultimately it comes down to how the racers respond to all of our hard work and months of planning.
We have received good reviews from the Sheriff and Fire Departments, City Officials and Local Residents but we can only thank you for your good behavior. With reports like this we can continue putting this race on for years to come.
This was my first time trying to pull an event of this magnitude off. I would like to dedicate The 2009 Lake Elsinore Grand Prix to my grandfather Dick Dahn and my father Ted Brobeck that are the reasons I am in this business today. Since I have been in diapers I have been on the back of a dozer with my grandfather building Mickey Thompson Off Road tracks. He was an avid Off Road Racer, lover of people and his grandkids! My grandpa actually built the 2009 GP track and was still building CORR tracks when he was diagnosed with Renal Cancer which ended his life in April of this year. My father Ted Brobeck would have been on the line in the Vet 40+ Exp Quad class, little did he know that when he was prepping our bikes for the Adelanto Grand Prix over 15 years ago that his little girl could pull off an event like this. I miss you both and thank you for your help and guidance this year.
I could not have done it without the hard work of my amazing Podium Crew and outstanding Volunteers! We would Ilike to thank the Storm Stadium Staff, especially Bruce Kessman and Dave Oster for bringing this event to us and trusting that we could pull it off. I can’t thank you all enough! I hope all of you enjoyed this years GP, it was a learning experience for all of us and we hope to make next year even better.
