The IJSBA just received news from The Fairway Inn that they expect to be sold out tomorrow. The Fairway Inn is the sponsoring hotel for economy accommodations at the 2009 quakysense World Finals.
Participants and spectators who took advantage of the Island Inn specials received rates as low as $38.00 per night.

Fan of the week from Pala Raceway
The Typhoon Tommy Free Style Jet Ski Show drew a large crowd Saturday morning at the causeway in Annapolis Royal as hundreds gathered near the tidal power plant to watch the incredible stunts of Rambo Rosie, Typhoon Tommy Nuttall and Big Mike as they defied gravity in the water.
The show lasted for just short of half an hour but was scheduled to be back on at 4 p.m. The event was part of Digby’s
Wharf Rat Rally and brought to Annapolis Royal by the local board of trade.
